This annual event was originally organized in 1952 as "National Secretaries Week" by the National Secretaries Association (now known as the International Association of Administrative Professionals). It was established as an effort to recognize these professionals for their contributions in the workplace, and to attract people to secretarial/administrative careers.
Boss' Day Breakfast

A favorite event of our chapter where we pay honor to our bosses each year in October. This event is open to the community and gains in popularity each year. This event is a great way to introduce our professional association to the management of businesses in and around Baytown.
Qtrly Newsletter/Scrapbook
Chair to be Announced

Develop your writing and editorial skills by compiling our monthly newsletter. Take pictures and keep the historical notes for our chapter.

Officer Installation
Chair:  Chapter President
Meeting to be held at Monument Inn Restaurant.  A recognition of outgoing and incoming officers and welcome celebration for new members.
Programs/Presentations
Chair to be Announced

Plan the meeting program and make reservations for monthly meetings. Obtain speakers or other interesting programs, either educational or entertaining, for our monthly meetings.

Ways & Means
Chair:  Chapter Treasurer

Select, organize, and promote projects for raising funds necessary for the operation of our local chapter.

Bylaws
Chair:  Board of Directors

Keep us on track and advise the Division and International of any changes.

Membership/Recruiting
Chair:  Chapter Vice President

Responsible for welcoming our members and guests, and contacting members in their absence. Be the point-of-contact for our chapter for inquiries and submit applications to Headquarters; create and keep active a continuing program of membership enrollment and retention.
